The short version: Mio Software apps are built to work on your device. We do not collect your personal content, we do not sell your data, and we do not require an account. Anything an app needs to do its job is processed and stored on your iPhone.

Please review before publishing. This policy is a starting template that reflects how Mio Software apps are designed today. Before you rely on it for App Store submission, read it line by line, fill in every [bracketed] placeholder, and confirm each statement matches what your final apps actually do. If in doubt, have it reviewed by an attorney.

1. Who we are

This policy applies to the websites and mobile applications ("apps") provided by Mio Software LLC ("Mio Software," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company organized in the United States. You can reach us at info@miosoftware.app.

2. Our approach to your data

Mio Software apps are designed to run on-device. That means the work each app does happens on your iPhone, using Apple's built-in system features. As a general rule:

We do not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information.
We do not require you to create an account or give us your name, email, or phone number to use our apps.
We do not transmit the content of your messages, calls, photos, or files to us or to any third party.

3. Spam Blocker — how it handles your data

Our Spam Blocker app screens calls and text messages from unknown senders only (people who are not in your Contacts). It uses Apple's system features — a Call Directory Extension for calls and a Message Filter Extension for text messages — which are designed by Apple to protect your privacy.

Message content stays on your device. When the app helps iOS decide whether an unknown text looks like Junk, Promo, or a Transaction, that check happens on your iPhone. The content of your messages is never sent to Mio Software or anyone else.
iMessages and messages from your contacts are never filtered and are not seen by the app.
What the in-app log stores. To show you a history of what was filtered, the app may keep a log on your device containing limited metadata — for example a sender identifier, the assigned category (Junk, Promo, or Transaction), and a timestamp. This log is stored locally on your iPhone. It is not uploaded to us.
Block lists. The app uses a list of known spam sources that is bundled with the app and updated through normal App Store app updates. Using the app does not send your call or message history to us.

4. Other Mio Software apps

Our other apps (such as a device health dashboard, a storage and photo cleaner, and a calorie counter) follow the same principle: the information they use — for example battery and storage readings, photo details, or the meals you log — is processed and stored on your device. If any future app ever needs to send information off your device, we will update this policy and clearly tell you before it happens.

5. Data collected automatically

We aim to collect as little as possible. Note that when you download an app or make a purchase, Apple processes that transaction and may share limited, aggregated information with us (such as the number of downloads or subscriptions) through its App Store Connect tools. This is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours, and does not include the content inside your apps.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid features and subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account. Mio Software does not receive or store your credit card or payment details. Manage or cancel subscriptions any time in your device's Settings under your Apple Account.

7. Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will address it.

8. Your choices

Because our apps store their data on your device, you stay in control:

You can clear an app's on-device history from within the app or by deleting the app.
You can manage the permissions each app uses (such as call filtering) in your device Settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
