Mio: Photo Cleaner for iPhone · Effective date: September 7, 2026
Mio does not collect any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party code of any kind. There is no Mio server: the app has nowhere to send your information, and it does not send it anywhere.
This policy explains what the app does on your iPhone, which permission it asks for and why, and the two cases in which the network is used — both of them by Apple, on your behalf.
Mio: Photo Cleaner ("Mio") is published by Mio Software LLC ("Mio Software," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Florida, United States, located in North Miami Beach, Florida. You can reach us at support@miosoftware.app. This policy applies to the Mio iPhone app and to nothing else; our other apps and this website are covered by the Mio Software privacy policy.
None. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data or any data derived from it. We do not know who you are, what device you use, or whether you use the app at all. Correspondingly, the app's App Store listing declares Data Not Collected, and its privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types.
The app does not use an advertising identifier and does not track you across apps or websites, by any definition of tracking, including Apple's.
The app asks for one permission, and it asks at the moment the feature is used, after explaining on screen why it is needed. You can change your mind at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or in the app's own page in iOS Settings.

That is the only permission the app asks for. It does not use the camera, the microphone, location, Bluetooth or Face ID, and it does not ask for access to your contacts, calendars, health data, or anything else.
The following is kept in the app's own storage on your device. It is not readable by other apps, it is never transmitted, and it is removed completely when you delete the app:
The app makes no network requests of its own and contains no code that contacts a server of ours, because no such server exists. Network activity occurs in exactly two situations, both handled by Apple:
The app also reads whether the device is currently online, in order to explain why a photo stored in iCloud cannot be fetched at that moment. Reading that state transmits nothing.
Mio Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold by Apple. We never receive your card details, your Apple Account, your name or your billing address. The app only asks iOS whether an active subscription exists on the device, and unlocks the paid actions if it does. Purchases, restoration, renewal and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms and Apple's privacy policy, and are managed in your Apple Account settings.
There are none. The app contains no analytics framework, no advertising framework and no third-party libraries at all; it is built entirely on Apple's own frameworks. We have no processors, no partners with access to app data, and nothing to disclose about data sharing, because no data is gathered to share.
One thing outside our control is worth stating plainly: if you have turned on Share With App Developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may provide us with aggregated crash and performance reports for this app. That data comes from Apple, is not linked to your identity, and is governed by Apple's own policy. It is not collected by the app, and turning that setting off stops it.
Mio is not directed to children, and it is not designed for them. It collects no data from anyone of any age, so no information about a child can be collected, used or disclosed.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you, and the right not to have it sold. We hold none: nothing about you ever reaches us, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or delete, and nothing that could be sold. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.
Everything the app keeps is on your own device, under your control. Deleting the app removes all of it. If you would like confirmation of any of this in writing, write to us at the address below and we will answer.
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Data stored locally by the app remains on your iPhone until you delete the app or clear it from within the app.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently. Because the app collects nothing, any future change can only narrow what is stated above.
